Last night I watched
Return of the King. It held up remarkably well on the small screen, I had wondered if it would lose much of its impact. Recalling the splendour and majesty of some of the visuals, it did make me wish I had seen it a few more times on the big screen though. Hopefully some enterprising cinemas will trot out the trilogy on significant anniversaries each year. You know, 1 year anniversary, 5 year.. etc. I really ought to start saving my pennies so I can invest in a home cinema one day.
